The Challenge

A Canadian beauty brand with real potential and a fragmented foundation. Multiple products sharing the same name. A range with no clear architecture. Pricing not ready to support retailer margins or any meaningful marketing investment. The brand had ambition but no structure to grow from.

The Problem

Without a coherent product range, consistent packaging, or a pricing model that worked for retail, every commercial conversation hit a wall. The brand could not get listed at the right retailers because the fundamentals were not retail ready. Marketing spend on top of a broken foundation would have accelerated the problem, not solved it.

The Fix

Before planning any marketing campaign, we went back to basics. Rationalised the SKU mix. Rebuilt the packaging architecture. Repositioned pricing to create room for retail margins and trade investment. Rebuilt the digital presence including the Amazon store, website, and creative assets, all on a lean budget. Once the foundation was right, the right retail doors opened. National retail presence followed through direct distributor relationships across Canada.
